Maris Otter เป็น base malt ยอดนิยมจากอังกฤษ เหมาะที่สุดสำหรับทำเบียร์ English style สำหรับ Low Colour Maris Otter จะให้สีที่อ่อนกว่า Maris Otter ปกติ

โดยค่ามาตรฐานสีจะอยู่ที่ 1.5-2.1 Lovibond (3.0-5.0 EBC)

Well modified producing consistent extract within the standard ale colour range, giving sweet and flavourful worts.

Maris Otter has long been the favorite of English brewers for its brewhouse performance and rich, slightly nutty flavour.

An excellent malt for any English beer style.

All of Fawcett’s Maris Otter malt is still produced in their traditional floor maltings.
